Marijuana and Driving

Here’s a test on the effects on marijuana and driving – Oops! It turns out the guy actually drives better stoned!! With that being said I would never say it is a good idea to get stoned and drive. Cars are giant metal objects which go really fast. Not a good idea to run into stuff with them and it would be a major buzz kill if you did. Also if you ever hit anyone while stoned you could be planning to sit in prison for a little while. Also not cool. Walking is always nice stoned. I would even go so far as to say that stringent drug laws actually increase the amount of people who drive stoned since there is no safe environment to smoke up. If someone is going to a concert or a movie they’ll smoke at home before they leave. If they could just toke up in their car (while sitting in the parking lot of their destination) like cigarette smokers do they would both enjoy the event they’re seeing more, and it would be safer for everyone on the road.

Also worth noting is the fact that those who drove while being stoned were actually more careful since they are aware of their intoxication. Marijuana smokers aren’t likely to engage in the kind of asshole driving that alcoholics do since alcohol makes people lose their inhibitions and makes them more likely to take chances.
